Early involvement in an automation project definition and design phase yields the most successful projects. As your Main Automation Contractor (MAC), Control Southern can serve as the single source of responsibility in the planning and execution of your automation projects.
Across all development phases, from concept through planning, implementation, production and ongoing operation, highly experienced Control Southern project managers work closely with your staff and your contractor to ensure compliance and ease of operation by providing:
• Business Justification
• Execution
• Multi-vendor Management
• Procurement & Delivery
• Ongoing Support
Control Southern will provide a turnkey solution – including front-end engineering design (FEED), equipment selection, project engineering, commissioning and start up services. From full Main Automation Contractor (MAC) scope, to Main Instrument Vendor (MIV), to supply of the automation system, configuration, and engineering services, Control Southern can help.
Over many projects, our MAC program has shown to provide lower project risk, lower project costs, reduced project schedule, quicker time to profitability, increase of financial return and superior process manageability after project startup over traditional project approaches.
In a MAC relationship, Control Southern strives for a high level of partnership as a member of your project team.
Responsibility matrices help the project teams define a clear responsibilities matrix. Early involvement reduces rework later in the project
Change orders are minimized throughout the project by ensuring key decisions are made early related to tradeoffs in technology, purchase cost, installed costs and total life cycle cost.
The combination of Control Southern’s implementation expertise and PlantWeb™ digital technology creates a compelling advantage for our customers. We help reduce capital expenditure (CAPEX) and operating expenditure (OPEX) by reducing project costs, bringing the system online faster and providing the mechanism and services to optimize process performance and maintain high reliability of your assets.
Control Southern has been very successful in building these types of relationships in the past. Our knowledge of the process industries manufacturing operations, combined with our technology expertise, help us to better understand which project tasks can cause the largest issues.
