The Kraft Pulping Process is used in the majority of pulp mills.

It utilizes caustic chemicals to pulp wood, creating a product that is stronger than that made by other pulping processes. Kraft Pulping is very complex and presents many challenges such as high pressure steam in power and recovery; scale build-up from green and white liquor in the recausticizing area; erosion from lime mud; high consistency pulp; pH control in the bleach plant; and corrosion from chlorine dioxide.

Our team provides advanced process solutions for unit operations, including optimization of brown stock washing, lime kiln, and evaporators to reduce energy and chemical costs while minimizing environmental impact.
