The Type EZH regulators are accurate pilot-operated, pressure balanced, soft seated regulators. They are designed for use in high pressure natural gas transmission/city gate stations, distribution systems, and power plant feeds. They provide smooth, reliable operation, tight shutoff and long life.

Type Y692VB Vacuum Breaker
The Y692VB Series vacuum breakers are used in applications where an increase in vacuum must be limited. An increase in vacuum (decrease in absolute pressure) beyond a certain value registers on the diaphragm of the Y692VB Series, moving the disk away form the seat. This permits atmosphere or a positive pressure to enter the system and restore the controlled vacuum to its original pressure setting.

The H200 Series Pop  relief valves are self-operated relief valves with preset and pinned spring retainers.  The inlet pressure registers directly on a spring-opposed poppet assembly which includes a nitrile disk.  When the inlet gas pressure increases above the spring setting, the poppet and disk assembly is pushed away from the orifice.  Springs are available that provide any relief pressure setting from 25 to 300 psig (1,7 to 20,7 bar).

 The 289 Series pressure relief valves are throttling relief valves used downstream of pressure regulators to protect the downstream system from overpressure. Type 63EG Relief Valve or Backpressure Regulator

The 63EG pilot-operated pressure relief valves or backpressure regulator are suitable for gas services and throttling backpressure applications, such as on oilfield separators. The Type 63EG relief valve or backpressure regulator utilizes the 6358 Series pilots. The unique hollow valve stem in these pilots provides quick pressure registration on top of the main valve plug preventing main valve unseating during normal system startup.

The Type 63EG backpressure regulator is also suitable for throttling backpressure or bypass applications.

The Type 63EG backpressure regulator may be installed in any orientation, as long as flow through it matches the direction of the arrow on the main valve body.

1098-EGR Pressure Reducing Regulator

Type 1098-EGR and 1098H-EGR regulators provide accurate pressure control in a variety of applications: natural gas systems; fuel gas supply to industrial boilers, furnaces and mixers; and commercial or industrial businesses such as steel mils, asphalt plants, and shopping centers.  This regulator is used with a Type 6352, 6353, 6354 or 61 Series pilot.

The superior performance of this regulator is due to the amplifying effect of the pilot and the two-path control system.  Changes in outlet pressure act quickly on the actuator diaphragm to provide fast response to changes.  The pilot amplifies system changes, positioning the main valve for precise control.

The 95L Series regulators are compact, rugged, direct-operated pressure regulators for outlet pressures of 2 to 30 psig (0,14 to 2,1 bar).  The units are available in 1/4 through 1-inch sizes and are offered in several different end connection styles.  These regulators are designed to handle inlet pressures up to 300 psig (20,7 bar).

670 Series Panel-Mounted Regulator

The 670 Series panel-mounted regulators are compact, rugged units used primarily for manually loading gas regulators. Applications include any control device that needs to be manipulated from a remote location. The 670 Series includes an atmospheric bleed which allows the loading pressure to be reduced.

Three basic panels are available within the product line, each having one pressure regulator connected to one or two gauges or two gauges and a changeover valve. A single gauge typically shows loading pressure to the control valve. With two gauges, one gauge shows the loading pressure and the other gauge can be connected to show downstream control pressure or any other pressure. The 670 Series is available with a three-way changeover valve. This allows the operator to manually set the regulator in the off, manual, or automatic position.

1301 Series High-Pressure Regulators
1301 Series High-Pressure Regulator The proven reliability and accurate regulation of the Type 1301F and 1301G direct-operated regulators are used for numerous high-pressure applications with inlet pressures up to 6000 psig (414 bar).  These regulators are available in brass or stainless steel construction.  Their rugged design offers versatility for a wide range of applications.

Type 414 Relief Valve / Backpressure Regulator

Y690A Series Tank Blanketing Valve
The Y690A Series Gas Blanketing Regulator System reduces a high-pressure gas, such as nitrogen, to maintain a protective environment above any liquid stored in a tank or vessel. The regulator system replaces the volume of vapors with a volume of blanketing gas to prevent the internal vessel pressure from decreasing, when liquid is being pumped out or when the vessel is suddenly cooled, causing vapors to contract. In both cases a slight positive vessel pressure prevents outside, air, moisture and other contaminants from entering the vessel. The Type Y690A is a direct-operated regulator used for accurate pressure control on very low pressure blanketing systems. Downstream pressure is sensed through a pitot tube installed in the lower casing of the regulator, thus no external control line is required. The Type Y690AM uses a control line to more accurately control the pressure if the regulator is mounted away from the tank.

Type Y692 Tank Blanketing Valve

The Accu-Pressure Type Y692 gas blanketing regulator is a pressure reducing self-operated regulator with internal registration requiring no downstream control line. It is used for accurate pressure control on very low pressure blanketing systems. Blanketing with low pressure gas helps prevent corrosion, helps control emissions from the blanketed product and helps protect against any contamination to the blanketed product by atmospheric conditions.

Type Y695A Vapor Recovery Valve

The Y695A backpressure/relief valves are direct-operated and are used to maintain a constant inlet pressure or vessel pressure with the outlet flowing to atmosphere or to a system whose pressure is lower than the inlet.

The Type Y695AM has a blocked throat and O-ring stem seat to allow for external pressure registration.  The lower diaphragm case is tapped 1/2-inch NPT for control line connection.

66 Series Pressure Reducing Regulators
The Type 66 self-operated regulator maintains a reduced outlet pressure while satisfying the downstream flow demands.  The Type 66Z and 66ZZ self-operated regulators also control a reduced outlet pressure; however, both have springs sensitive to negative pressures and can be used for vacuum regulation.  Each regulator type has a balancing diaphragm which increases accurate and sensitive response to pressure changes by reducing the unbalanced forces acting on the valve plug.

Type 1190 Tank Blanketing Valve

The Type 1190 low pressure gas blanketing valve is a pilot-operated, pressure reducing valve with a supply pressure regulator. This valve is used for extremely accurate pressure control on very low pressure gas blanketing systems. The Type 1190 helps to control emissions and provides protection against any contamination from atmospheric conditions by providing a flushing action.

The Type 1190 gas blanketing valve maintains a positive vessel pressure thereby reducing the possibility of vessel wall collapse during pumpout operations.

The Type 99 regulator typically provides fuel gas to boilers, furnaces, ovens, mixers, and large commercial or institutional installations.

The key to the operation of a Type 99 regulator is the yoked double-diaphragm pilot. Fast response and accuracy are made possible by the amplifying effect of the pressure-balanced pilot and by the two-path control system. The function of the pilot is to sense change in the controlled pressure and amplify it into a larger change in the loading pressure . Type HSR Direct-Operated, Spring-Loaded Pressure Regulators

The Type HSR direct-operated, spring-loaded pressure regulators provide economical pressure reducing control in a variety of residential, commercial, and industrial applications. The Type HSR pressure regulators can be used with natural, manufactured, or liquefied petroleum gases. In addition, the Type HSR pressure regulators have internal relief across the diaphragm to help minimize overpressure. Any outlet pressure above the start-to-discharge point of the nonadjustable relief valve spring moves the diaphragm off the relief valve seat, allowing excess pressure to bleed out through the screened spring case vent.

The Type HSR pressure regulators meet ANSI B109.4 / CGA 6.18.

S200 Series Pressure Reducing Regulators
The quick-reacting S200 Series pressure reducing service regulator is typically used in an industrial or commercial installation to minimize the shock effect of sudden downstream load changes that might otherwise activate safety shutoff equipment. In such an installation, where gas consumption varies from almost nothing to several thousand standard cubic feet per hour (scfh) (or normal cubic meters per hour (m3/h(n)), snap-acting solenoid valves can cause sudden load changes. The resulting shock pressures and regulator instability can cause safety equipment to shut the installation down. But with an S200 Series regulator, transmission of shock loads to downstream equipment is reduced, thereby helping maintain downstream pressures within desired limits.

The S200 Series regulators are available in several different configurations to meet the demands of varying services and overpressure protection requirements. Each configuration is made up of different construction features. The following section describes the available construction features.

Fisher Odorant Injection System
The Fisher odorant injection system, for natural gas, is computerized and uses a patented solenoid injector technology, eliminating the need for plunger pumps. The solenoid injectors permit odorant injection accuracy to be maintained over the entire range of the system, approaching infinite turn down. Automatic calibration during operation adjusts for any changes in mechanical components and detects failures for report by exception alarming. The system can also be configured to use redundant injectors and/or an emergency back up absorption system.

 

The system can be configured and operation data viewed using an integrated push button panel and display. A printer option is also available for local hard copy documentation of system operations (gas flow rates, injections rates, configuration changes and alarms).

The Gridboss System - Gas Pressure Control and Management

The GridBossTM Gas Pressure Control System uses a minimum of a GB601 District Regulator (DR) Controller at the district regulator station and a GB602 Low Pressure Point (LPP) Controller at the system low pressure point. The DR controller incorporates an adaptive/predictive computer algorithm that uses the pressure data to develop setpoint profiles based on the time of day and ambient temperature. The controller uses this information to adjust the setpoint of the district regulator, using an actuator or servo valve, in anticipation of the gas demand.

The two controllers work in tandem to maintain the low pressure point within a specified deadband, thereby reducing average system pressure. In a typical municipal installation, many district regulator controllers would be employed at regulator stations around a city to control gas pressure based on the time of day and temperature demand profiles derived from the low pressure point controller.

The Type 1805 relief valve is designed for use in farm tap applications where a relief valve is needed between the first and second-stage regulators. Type P590 Series Filters

P590 Series filters are designed to remove dirt, scale or other solid substances from gases just upstream from pilot supply lines for air or gas pressure regulators.

P590 Series filters come with either aluminum or brass bodies and cellulose or aluminum/brass filter elements. Type P593-1 is also available with a NACE option.

Y602 Series vent assemblies help to prevent the obstruction of vent openings, allowing proper air or gas flow for regulator spring cases, remote vent lines, actuator diaphragm casings, and miscellaneous applications. These vent assemblies are available in either angle or straight styles. Typically, angle vent assemblies protect vent openings that face sideways, and straight vent assemblies protect vent openings that face either up or down. Type 92S Self-Powered Control Valve

The Type 92S pressure reducing control valves are piston actuated for high cycle steam service. The Type 92S control valves and pilot use lapped seating surfaces that have been proven to minimize seat leakage. The Types 6492H and 6492L pilots have bellows sealed stems to eliminate stem guide friction.

The steel and stainless steel Type 92S control valves are available with a set point range of up to 250 psig (17,24 bar) and a maximum temperature of 650 º F (343 º C).

The Type 92S control valves can be used as a working monitor by adding a second Type 6492 pilot. The intermediate pressure must be high enough to meet the minimum differential pressure requirement of the second regulator. Pilot supply for the second regulator can be connected to the upstream system. When intermediate pressure may be too low (minimum differential pressure is pilot supply pressure minus outlet pressure).

The Type 92B Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV) is the standard steam valve for the industry. It can withstand dirty operating environments while providing accurate and stable pressure control. The Type 92B steam valve is designed to provide decades of continuous service. The Type 92B steam valve is applied as a main pressure reducing valve in industrial process heating applications such as heat exchangers, evaporators, digesters, and reactors.

The Y696VR Series vacuum regulators are used where a decrease in vacuum must be limited, such as between a tank and vacuum source to control vacuum in a tank. The Type 168 and 168H three-way, snap-acting switching valves provide fast, positive switching of pneumatic pressures in response to a predetermined change in a pneumatic input signal. These switches can be used to open and close pneumatically operated control valves, to load or exhaust pneumatic systems, or to operate a variety of pneumatic equipment.

The Type 68-2 is a three-way, snap-acting switching valve that forms the valve body portion of the Type 168 and 168H switching valves. A manual reset switch may be adapted to the Type 168 and 168H switching valves to provide for manual reset. An extension of the trip lever allows the Type 68-2 to be used as a manual switching valve.
